Sr. Food Scientist

Job Description

As the Senior Food Scientist, you'll drive innovation by transforming customer needs, industry trends, and R&D breakthroughs into cutting-edge applications across dairy, non-dairy, and beverages.

• Lead the technical development of new product applications in non-dairy and beverage specialties
• Identify trends and customer needs in alternative protein sources for opportunity assessment
• Conduct testing and analysis to assess functional and organoleptic properties of products
• Develop new product formulations
• Collaborate with the Commercial Team and ICL Front End Innovation on customer applications
• Conduct regular customer visits and provide training
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans
• Manage project deliverables, scope, and change control; escalate issues when necessary
• Monitoring project progress and performance

What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role? 

• MSc in Food Science/Technology preferred
• 7 or more years of industry experience in ingredients and/or consumer goods focused on plant-based ingredient applications for the dairy alternative market preferred
• Expertise in food testing, processes, sensory evaluation, and chemistry of food products."
• Strong documentation, organization, and time management skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

Salary Range: $106,000 - $160,000

Annual Bonus Target: 12%, subject to plan provisions.
