Purpose of the role:
As a key member of ICL Group’s global IT organization you are responsible for development and implementation of digital commerce solutions. Primary goal is to ensure technical success of ICL’s e-commerce platform and manage performance of the services continuously.
With your expertise, technical skills and innovative spirit you will contribute to the expansion of ICL’s digital commerce capabilities and ensure stability, high productivity, and efficiency of the system landscape of ICL Group in this area.
In system development activities you collaborate directly with architects, engineers and product owners to refine technical requirements, prioritize needs and create new functions and features.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop and execute technical roadmap.
• Coordinate activities of development teams, architects, and product owners to define. requirements and transform them into development specifications and tasks.
• Lead tech refinement processes and development operations.
• Successful implementation of platform services and features. 
• Successful implementation of fundamental data structures.
• Ensure high productivity and efficiency of ICL e-commerce tools & services.
• Manage and report system performance, including continuous platform monitoring and problem resolution.
• Administer tech foundation, tools, and utilities.
• Coordinate end-to-end tests, regression tests, and performance tests, including facilitating set-up of test data, scripts, and accounts.
• Work with ICL teams to integrate new capabilities and external services into the platform.

What do you bring?

Education & experience:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science and/or engineering
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in e-commerce with successful deliveries in B2B or B2C industries

Skills & competencies:

• Strong technical leader in e-commerce
• Passion for innovation and staying ahead of the curve in digital transformation
• Eagerness and curiosity
• Flexibility
• Very good English language skills

Specific knowledge:

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, C#
• Knowledge of web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks
• Experience with DBMS such as MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB
• Understanding of API (Application Programming Interface) integration and usage
• Software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum.
• Ability to perform testing and debugging of software applications to ensure quality and functionality
• Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and technologies like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.

Preferably Poland, Warsaw-area, or Spain. Home-office is possible.
