Senior RtR Accountant

In this challenging role you will be leading a team of 3 professionals. You will be keeping the full accounting of ICL Polska in accordance with the provisions of the "Polish Accounting Act" and IFRS.

Your responsibilities:

• correct tax settlements, calculation and preparation of tax returns, keeping tax documentation (CIT, VAT, deferred tax and others)
• preparation of the company's financial statements, statistical reports (GUS, NBP, US) and group package according to IFRS
• coordinating accounting processes and verifying processes in the company in terms of tax requirements  
• active participation in the creation of accounting policies
• streamlining and creating procedures to increase efficiency
• analysis of accounting accounts to ensure their correctness
• closing financial periods in accordance with internal group requirements and responsibility for internal reporting
• participation in the management of current financial liquidity
• cooperation with an auditor and tax advisor

Your skills and education:

• Higher education (economics, finance, accounting) 
• Good knowledge of the financial and accounting system: SAP and other CDN Optima or QAD (will be an advantage)
• Very good knowledge of MS Office programs, in particular Excel
• Very good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards in Poland and internationally
• Proficient, practical knowledge of current tax law regulations
• English; minimal at a level B2
• Creativity, ability to independently identify and solve problems and search for optimal solutions
• Experience as a chief / senior Accountant, min. 5 years (professional experience gained in an accounting office will be an advantage)
• Very good organization of own work and team management skills
• Certificate of the Minister of Finance entitling to provide accounting services is welcome
• Responsibility, reliability, accuracy, punctuality and conscientiousness
