The Role:
In this role, your goal will be to supporting the procurement of indirect services, strategic and sourcing activities within the Contractors and Energy sub-category including Projects, responsible for the multiple countries. You will be working in a team of Sourcing Managers, your line manager, Head of Indirect Contractors and Energy.
The Responsibilities:
- Procurement operational activities in multiple regions in ERP system (SAP/ QAD).
- Actively participate in the strategic sourcing activities for the Contractors sub-category, with the goal of achieving cost reductions, while maintaining or improving service quality or vendor service levels.
- Identify, evaluate & select suppliers, negotiate and close framework-agreements of Global & EU region services under the Contractors sub-category under the guidance of Sourcing managers.
- Engage and negotiation with Suppliers/ sub-contractors as per the Delegation of authority.
- Preparing bid documents/ tender/ comparisons and data analysis using Microsoft Excel.
- Establish and manage global/regional relationships with suppliers.
- Monitor performances of vendors and their compliance with their commitments.
- Address & solve operational issues with suppliers.
- Resolve the invoice processing related challenges.
- Preparing & issuing savings reports/ activity reports.
The Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering field/ technical field.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in procurement/ projects contracting.
- Understanding of contracting services markets.
- Excellent command of English (must have) and Spanish, German, or Hebrew (nice to have).
- Interpersonal skills and result driven personality.
- Strong negotiation skills is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and supplier relations skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively, and in a matrix management style organization.
- Strategic thinker and pragmatic worker.
