The Role:
As our new Operational Buyer in the Global Procurement team, you will actively participate in the sourcing activities with the goal of achieving cost reductions, while maintaining or improving quality. You will work closely together with the Global Sourcing Managers who are responsible for the global sourcing strategy for a specific sub-category or project. Your focus will be split across long-term projects such as assisting in preparing and coordinating bids as well as managing the operational activities in PR to PO (Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order) cycle. Co-ordination with site stakeholders will be required for this role. You will have a key role in our organization. You will interact with sites, suppliers, and colleagues from all over the globe on a day-to-day basis. This position would be great for further pursuing your procurement.

 

The Responsibilities:

  • Identify, Evaluate & Select suppliers, negotiate and close framework agreements for Global & specific region for Products and Services under the Procurement Tech & Maintenance Equipment Sub-category.
  • Support the Sourcing Manager with CAPEX procurement activities and perform data analysis to enhance decision-making.
  • Manage operational procurement tasks, including RFQs and PR-PO conversion.
  • Maintain procurement records, verify invoices, and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Maintain and develop in-depth knowledge of suppliers, markets and trends.
  • Perform / Participate in best-in-class negotiation process via analysis of supply & demand trends.
  • Resolve payment-related issues efficiently.
  • Review, verify, and approve financial and business transactions within guidelines within established Frameworks.
  • Occasional travel to suppliers and sites for projects, building relations and negotiation of prices and contracts.

The Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field like Engineering, Science, Operations, Supply Chain etc.
  • 4+ years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations), Industrial categories.
  • Hands on understanding of procurement processes, and systems (like SAP) to do the PR to PO process.
  • Excellent command of English and Spanish (must have) and German, or Hebrew (nice to have).
