FP&A and Business Controller

The Role:

We offer a challenging role in an international environment where you will support the development the new products and processes that will make the strong growth ambitions of ICL become true. You will support on multiple legal entities and need to support the basis of the business control function. There is the opportunity to grow and develop your skills. Your main activities will be to support sales and cost control and closing activities.

The Responsibilities:

• Analysis of month-end, quarterly and results including regular business reviews for management and support reporting for all business controllers.
• Coordinate and prepare periodic forecasts, annual budget and 5-year planning.
• Deliver high quality business support, financial reporting and analysis about sales, margins, profitability by product group, customer, regions, brands.
• Deliver high quality business and cost control by supporting Marketing, R&D and Central departments.
• Execute balance sheet reviews and internal controls.
• Drive and support business process improvement initiatives.
• Active participation in business, IT and financial-related projects.
• Drive working capital positions to the optimal situation.
• Other ad-hoc controlling activities within EMEA-APAC part of Global Everris.

The Requirements:

• Business Economics / Controlling at bachelor’s level, Master preferred.
• Relevant working experience in an international and profitability-driven company.
• Strong financial and trend analysis skills.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS accounting guidelines and internal control framework.
• Excellent proficiency in the use of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with ERP systems, SAP, QAD, Hyperion/HFM, and BI a plus.
• Systems aptitude - to efficiently produce reports and therefore spend time on analysis rather than creation of data.
• Language:  Written and verbal communication skills in English.
