We are now looking for an experienced accounting professional ready to step beyond advisory and take ownership of finance operations within the business.

The Role:

This is a key position within our organization, offering the opportunity to make a real impact on our operations. You will manage the full cycle of accounting processes, ensure the highest standards of compliance, and provide reliable financial insights that serve as the foundation for strategic business decisions.

The Responsibilities:

• Accounting Management: Lead full-scope accounting in accordance with the Polish Accounting Act and Group standards.
• Tax Oversight: Ensure accuracy and compliance in CIT, VAT, and deferred tax areas.
• Reporting: Prepare statutory financial statements and consolidated reporting packages for the Group.
• Team Support: Foster engagement and support in the professional development of a 3-person accounting team.
• Process Optimization: Collaborate on and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency across tax and accounting functions.
• Closing Coordination: Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Business Partnerships: Act as a trusted partner for auditors, tax advisors, business stakeholders, and Headquarters (HQ).
• Financial Planning: Actively support cash flow management and financial planning processes.

The Requirements:

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• Professional experience gained within a service-oriented environment (accounting services), such as accounting outsourcing, Shared Service Centers (SSC – RtR/GL processes), or audit/accounting advisory firms.
• Proven proficiency in managing multiple entities or clients simultaneously.
• Strong command of SAP (essential); knowledge of Optima or QAD is an advantage.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Solid understanding of accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Fluency in business English (minimum B2 level).
• Experience in people management or the readiness and potential to step into a leadership role.
• Diligent, collaborative, and solution-oriented mindset.

Candidate Profile:

We are looking for a professional who has built their career within the dynamic environment of service firms (outsourcing/SSC/audit). Due to the nature of this role and the diversity of projects handled, experience exclusively as an in-house Chief Accountant for a single company may not fully align with the current operational requirements of this position.
