This position is specifically designed for professionals coming from accounting service providers, not for long‑term in‑house Chief Accountants.

In Poland, we support agriculture, horticulture, and professional turf care. We are now looking for an experienced accounting professional ready to step beyond advisory and take ownership of finance operations within the business.
The Role:
This is a key position within our organization. You will take full ownership of the accounting function, ensure compliance, and actively support business decision-making with high-quality financial insights.
The Responsibilities:
- Lead full-scope accounting in line with the Polish Accounting Act and Group standards,
- Take ownership of tax compliance (CIT, VAT, deferred tax, etc.),
- Prepare statutory financial statements and group reporting packages,
- Manage and develop a team of 3 accountants,
- Drive process improvements and increase efficiency across accounting and tax areas,
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes,
- Act as a key point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, business stakeholders, and HQ,
- Support cash flow management and financial planning.
The Requirements:
- Hold a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics,

Several years of hands‑on experience working for an accounting services provider, such as:
- accounting outsourcing firms
- shared service centers (RTR / GL / accounting)
- audit or accounting advisory firms

Experience servicing multiple clients / entities
- Confident working with ERP systems (SAP must-have; Optima/QAD is a plus),
- Highly proficient in Excel,
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations,
- Communicate confidently in English (min. B2),
- Leadership experience or is ready to step into a managerial role,
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and detail-focused.
This role is NOT suitable for:
- Candidates whose career has been primarily as an in‑house Chief Accountant in one or several companies
- Profiles without direct employment in an accounting services / outsourcing environment
