About the job

As our new Country Sales Manager for specialty Turf & Ornamental fertilizers, your mission will be to further develop the growth of our brands.
It is the responsibility of the Country Manager (Spain and Portugal) (further: CM) to define the sales and marketing strategy and to maximize the sales growth and profitability of ICL Specialty Fertilizer products.

Key responsibilities:

 

  • P&L Responsibility: Oversee profit and loss for Spain and Portugal.
  • Market Strategy: Develop strategies to increase market share in the Turf and Ornamental segment.
  • Budget Targets: Set and achieve annual sales and financial targets within approved budgets.
  • Reporting: Regularly report financial results and achievements.
  • Leadership and Training: Lead and train the Field Force and optimize sales support and marketing staff.
  • Marketing Coordination: Ensure alignment with central marketing guidelines.
  • Account Management: Manage key distributor relationships and customer satisfaction, translating market demands into forecasts.
  • Communication: Maintain high communication standards with distributors, PSMs, and growers.
  • Annual Plans: Develop annual sales action programs, marketing plans, and trial plans.
  • Market Development: Identify and develop new segments and distribution channels.
  • Motivation and Staffing: Foster motivation and recommend staff changes as needed.
  • Brand Positioning: Ensure proper commercial positioning of ICL-SF brands.
  • Financial Support: Oversee financial support functions.

About you

A)Education:
University or BSc preferably in Horticulture or Agriculture
Commercial education
 
B)Knowledge and experience:
At least 5+ years commercial working experience preferably in professional BtB environment in Agriculture. Proven leadership experience
Fluent in verbal and writing in Spanish and English
