As a QA Manager you are responsible for the implementation of total quality assurance at the production location. You conduct internal and external audits and implement the results. You are also responsible for the harmonization of locally applied operational procedures within ICL-IP Europe. You represent our company in internal and external meetings and audits. In cooperation with the global QA officer you coordinate and implement external quality standards such as,ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001. In order to be able to continue to guarantee quality, you ensure that relevant training of QA systems is provided to internal employees in the field. You act as an ambassador for QA related issues within the internal and external network.

 

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the implementation of ICL’s Global QA policies, procedures and instructions on the ICL-IP sites within Europe.
  • You are in co-lead with the local QA managers within Europe, with regard to the certification of production-based activities.
  • You are in the co-lead for the review meetings of ICL-IP Europe and ICL-IP Terneuzen. You not only participate, but you also prepare and facilitate where necessary based on the agreements made.
  • You ensure the harmonization of ICL-IP procedures and work instructions with local procedures at the different locations within Europe, so that they comply with the ICL documentation guidelines worldwide.
  • You are responsible for the local document management system and for the future integration into the global document management system.

 

About you
You have a completed HBO/WO education, preferably in Chemical Technology or similar. Over the years you have supplemented this with knowledge of laws and regulations and (inter)national quality standards.
You have at least five years of experience in advising management and implementing the quality policy within a multinational environment and preferably within the process industry.
Given that this is a function at European level, we also ask for a certain willingness to travel between different locations in the Netherlands, Germany and France. You can switch effortlessly between English and Dutch, whereby German is of course an advantage.
You can be described as an accurate person, you work in a structured way, you are proactive, problem-solving and flexible with regard to location and working hours. You are a booster and carer at the same time. Independent thinker, assertive, result-oriented, innovative and communicative.
