Job Purpose
ICL textile recycling is an innovative in-house start-up built as part of ICL’s business incubator
committed to solving the global problem of textile waste, reducing gas emissions, and creating a more sustainable and environmentally responsible future
ICL has developed an innovative and proprietary process that recovers the original materials of cotton
from different polycotton blends and enables fiber recycling and the use of those fibers to be recycled and reused
We are looking for a star general manager to lead the textile recycling activity and who will assume end to end responsibility for this newly founded business line
In this role you’ll act as a CEO of this activity, and be responsible for the business direction and vison, build infrastructure and capabilities, build alliances and collaborations and expand our market presence
in the textile recycling industry


Main responsibilities
Develop and articulate a clear and differentiated vision for the line business
Create a winning business plan considering market environment, competitive landscape, dynamics and regulations
Scale-up existing solution and operations to an industrialized solution that is commercially available, at scale
Build and lead an interdisciplinary cross-functional team fueling innovation, creativity, and business performance
Create pipeline and new business opportunities to create revenue streams
Build strategic partnerships and collaborations within the textile recycling ecosystem
Continuously assess and improve the company's operational capabilities to meet evolving market demands
Optimize recycling processes to ensure operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness
The position involves traveling abroad for work purposes


Requirements
Strong familiarity with the textile industry and its’ challenges or in recycling processes in similar industries- A Must
Good understanding of different elements of how a business operates: product, R&D, business, financial etc
Experience and passion to growing ideas and initiatives from early stage to revenue yielding businesses
Proven track record and experience in managing multi-national teams
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate market dynamics, trends and changes totangible business plans and actions
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and drive financial performance
