ICL is looking for an exceptional Global ESG Strategy & Performance Manager to play a key role in shaping and advancing the company's global sustainability agenda. This is a high-impact position at the intersection of ESG, finance, regulatory compliance, and corporate strategy, offering exposure to executive leadership and global business stakeholders. 

 

About the Role:

As part of ICL's Global Sustainability team, you will lead strategic ESG initiatives and help ensure the company remains at the forefront of evolving sustainability regulations and industry best practices.

You will be responsible for driving ESG performance, leading cross-functional projects, developing policies and governance frameworks, and supporting the organization's readiness for emerging global regulations, with a particular focus on European ESG requirements.

This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, project leadership, stakeholder management, regulatory expertise, and strong analytical capabilities.

 

What will your responsibilities be?

-Lead global ESG and sustainability initiatives across multiple business units and geographies. 

-Drive regulatory readiness and support compliance with evolving ESG regulations, including CSRD, ISSB, CBAM, and related frameworks. 

-Develop and implement ESG governance processes, policies, procedures, and performance measurement frameworks. 

-Lead cross-functional projects and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders and business functions. 

-Support ESG reporting activities, sustainability disclosures, and executive-level presentations.

-Develop and monitor ESG KPIs and performance metrics. 

-Engage with investors, rating agencies, financial institutions, and external stakeholders on ESG-related matters. 

-Translate complex ESG and regulatory requirements into practical business processes and actionable recommendations.

 

What are we looking for?

-Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics or Engineering

-Certified Public Accountant (CPA or equivalent) – strong advantage 

-8+ years of experience in ESG, sustainability, corporate reporting, finance, audit, consulting, or a related field. 

-Experience in a Big 4 advisory firm, ESG consulting practice, or a global publicly traded company.

-Strong understanding of ESG reporting frameworks and sustainability regulations. 

-Proven experience leading complex projects and influencing stakeholders without direct authority. 

-Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 

-Experience working with data-intensive reporting environments and performance management frameworks.

-Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
