About the role:
As a Maintenance Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing equipment performance through the implementation of advanced preventive and predictive maintenance strategies. Your mission will be to maximize asset availability, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency and safety in our processing plant.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead reliability strategies, implementing methodologies such as Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Optimize preventive and predictive maintenance plans, reducing downtime and operational costs.
- Supervise and train the technical team, ensuring skill development and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments (engineering, procurement, production) to ensure reliability throughout the equipment lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and risk management, promoting best practices in maintenance.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve equipment performance and maintenance efficiency.
- Implement new technologies and innovations to optimize plant reliability.
To succeed in this role:
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in industrial maintenance within processing plants or heavy manufacturing environments.
Technical Knowledge:
- Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), RCA/FMEA.
- Maintenance management in SAP (or similar ERP systems).
- Industrial safety and risk management in maintenance environments.
Skills and Attributes:

- Adaptability to a fast-paced industrial setting.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Languages:
Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
