Process Engineer

We are looking for a Process Engineer located in Súria (Barcelona).

As the Process Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing production processes, ensuring maximum efficiency and quality in our operations. If you have a passion for engineering and a desire to contribute to the sustainable development of the mining industry, we want to meet you!

Main Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Develop and optimize processing processes for minerals to improve operational efficiency.
• Conduct performance analysis of processes and propose improvements based on data.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement continuous improvement projects.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to processes and operational procedures.
• Train personnel on new technologies and processes, ensuring their proper implementation.
• Monitor compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations in all operations.
• Research and evaluate new technologies and methodologies that can be applied in the plant.
• Apply analytical thinking to identify improvement opportunities and solve complex problems.
• Demonstrate adaptability to changes in the operational environment and project demands.
• Manage process improvement projects, ensuring that deadlines and objectives are met.

You will rock at this role if...

• Graduate in Chemical or Mechanical or mining or industrial Engineering 
• Basic Understanding of unit operations
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills. 
• Be passionate about innovation and technology
• Excellent computer skills 
• Effective communicator
• Fluent English – Advantage
• Experience in potash and Salt  production process – Advantage
