Job Description
As the Process Control / OT Engineer, you will evaluate and troubleshoot automation manufacturing control systems consisting of PLCs, AC and DC drives, and HMI interfaces.

• Rockwell Automation Software including Studio5000, EtherNet/IP Design and Configuration, and FactoryTalk View
• Develop and edit PLC programs and make system hardware recommendations to resolve operation problems
• Help manage and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls and other network devices
• Design control systems and prepare drawings
• Document and maintain revisions to existing automated systems
• Maintenance of appropriate PLC and computer software/hardware information
• Electrical engineering, hardware design, systems integration, PLC programming, motion programming, HMI configuration, component specification, project management, start-up, and commissioning of capital projects
• Support and assist maintenance personnel in troubleshooting, testing, modifying, and installing electrical equipment and control systems
• Automated material conveyance systems utilizing VFD’s, PLC’s, and servo motion control components
• Responsible for project engineering and management of the design, installation and startup of automatic process control, material handling and distributive control systems
• Other responsibilities include project development, electrical and instrument hardware selection, electrical control drawing approval, programmable controller specifications, software development, and training
• In addition, the engineer will also support the manufacturing operations via assistance in troubleshooting, and production problem resolution
• This position works closely with drafting personnel, E&I designers, plant line and maintenance personnel, vendors, consultant engineers, and construction contractors
What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?
• B. S. degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
• Knowledge of field hardware, sensors, transmitters, signal conditioners, switch gear, relays etc.
• At least 2 years experience in process instrumentation and controls
• At least 2 years experience directly related to control systems in the process industry preferred
• Proven experience with programming, maintaining PLC's and in networked configuration
• Experience with Allen Bradley ControlLogix preferred
• Project management experience preferred
• Must enjoy working on multiple assignments in a manufacturing plant environment
• Must exercise participative and teamwork approaches
• Must demonstrate safety awareness by following proper safety policies and procedures
ICL Job Level: 15
Salary Range: $71K - $131K/year
Annual Bonus Target: 7%, subject to plan provisions.
