Operational Excellence Engineer

Job Description

As the Operational Excellence Engineer, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, identifying and implementing best practices, and leading change management programs that support the overall goals of the Carondelet Plant.

•    Develop and implement a continuous improvement strategy that aligns with the plant's goals and objectives.
•    Lead cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and drive improvements in all aspects of plant operations.
•    Facilitate problem-solving and decision-making processes to resolve operational issues and implement best practices.
•    Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement change management programs that support the adoption of new processes and technologies.
•    Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and track progress.
•    Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards.
•    Provide training and coaching to plant personnel to develop their continuous improvement skills.
•    Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers to ensure alignment and drive results.

What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role? 
•    Bachelor's degree in engineering or operations management preferred.
•    At least 5 years of experience in continuous improvement or operations management in a manufacturing environment.
•    Experience leading cross-functional teams and implementing process improvement initiatives.
•    Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive decision-making.
•    Excellent communication and leadership skills.
•    Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Salary Range: $71K - $131K/year

Annual Bonus Target: 7%, subject to plan provisions
