As North American Regional Supply Chain Manager, you will be accountable for the end-to-end North American supply chain, from demand and supply planning through production coordination, inventory deployment, logistics, order fulfillment and customer delivery. You own and continuously mature the regional S&OP / Integrated Business Planning process, ensuring one aligned demand, supply and inventory plan linked to financial targets, strategic priorities and executive decision-making. You will establish Best-In-Class Supply Chain Processes, set direction and manage activities for the North American supply chain team comprising: production planning, customer service, logistics and transportation, trade compliance and data & analytics.

  • Lead the North American Supply Chain organization, define its strategy and objectives, establish an end-to-end performance management system covering planning, customer service, inventory, cost, productivity, working capital and resilience.
  • Lead organizational change and establish ‘Best-In-Class’ Processes in the North American Supply Chain Management Organization: Analyze, map, identify with supply chain stakeholders performance gaps, develop a transformation roadmap and execute accordingly for benefits realization.
  • Partner with IT and global process owners to translate business requirements into a prioritized digital supply chain roadmap. Provide business sponsorship and governance for system implementations, process enhancements, automation and analytics initiatives.
  • Lead and manage North American region ongoing logistics operations to assure logistics support to ICL’s business needs while achieving constant logistics cost savings both via strategic optimization & improved real-time logistics coordination.
  • Collaborate with the global supply chain management teams across the world, support synergistic and integrative collaboration to optimize the global ICL network.
  • Optimize SC interfaces (e.g. to Sales, Operations, Planning, Procurement,  Customer Service) to ensure alignment across ICL’s Supply Chain. Define SLAs to precise service levels and processes.
  • Developing and implementing key business processes and KPIs associated with the sales and operations planning process (S&OP). This includes demand planning, production planning and raw material planning for strategic raw materials.
  • Owns regional inventory strategy, policies and target setting, balancing customer service, supply resilience, shelf-life considerations, obsolescence risk and working capital. Establish differentiated inventory and service strategies based on customer, product and supply chain segmentation.
  • Establish and maintain a regional supply chain risk management and resilience framework, including business continuity plans, critical material and capacity risk assessments, scenario planning and mitigation actions. Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to suppliers, production capacity, inventory, transportation, trade compliance and geopolitical or market disruptions.
  • Drive the adoption of advanced analytics, automation and AI-supported decision-making across planning, inventory, logistics and customer service.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable legal, regulatory and internal requirements relevant to regional supply chain operations, including trade compliance, safety standards and global supply chain processes.
  • Business support for acquisitions including due diligence and pre- and post-close integration activities.

What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role? 

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Engineering. Masters degree a plus.
  • 10+ years of progressive Supply Chain experience, preferably in an international food B2B or chemical industry environment, with 5 years of experience in a supply chain management role.
  • Proven history and experience in developing and enhancing business processes and systems to drive business results and improvements.
  • Strong IT skills regarding ERP Systems (preferably in SAP) and in Supply Chain Planning Systems such as SAP APO or SAP IBP.
  • Demonstrated Project Management experience: structured, results-oriented and able to manage competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end supply chain transformation in a complex, multi-site and matrix organization.
  • Strong experience in S&OP / Integrated Business Planning, including executive decision-making and financial integration.
  • Proven expertise in inventory optimization, supply chain segmentation and working capital management.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and service orientation skills with main stakeholders as sales and operations teams.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written, deliver effective presentations, shares information and ideas well and have good listening skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to make timely, fact-based decisions through quick recognition of problems, ability to sort through complex issues, actively seek input from others, addresses root cause of issues, can make difficult decisions, uses consensus, when possible, to build teamwork.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate within and across the organization’s structure; able to be effective in a global matrix organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and develop people through effective feedback and coaching.

Compensation at ICL: If you are hired at ICL, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. We also offer a generous benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).

 

Salary Range: $145,000 - $170,000 annually

 

Annual Bonus Target: 16%, subject to plan provisions.
