As the Process Engineer, you will be the primary department engineer for the Lithium Iron Phosphates department. This position will identify and implement process improvements through the application of sound chemical engineering principles. This position will interact with operators, maintenance, supervision, plant leadership and corporate support personnel.

  • Identify improvements and optimize processes through changes to equipment, systems, practices and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities, develop and coordinate plant projects to improve process capabilities, safety and competitive position
  • Lead and/or coordinate troubleshooting, de-bottlenecking and plant tests with other technical personnel
  • Perform technical and economic evaluations of alternative processes and determine relative costs compared to existing processes
  • Monitor environmental regulations and performance against regulations
  • Participate or lead plant safety activities

 

What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role? 

  • B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering and or will achieve by Dec 31, 2024
  • Preferred 2 years’ experience in manufacturing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex problems using data
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization
  • Leadership skills and the ability to lead change
  • Ability to set priorities, manage multiple projects and demonstrate strong attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills
  • Flexibility and availability to work weekends and holidays

 

 

Salary Range: $64,000 - $88,000 

 

Annual Bonus Target:  5%, subject to plan provisions.
