ICL has an opening for an Operations Lead at its production facility in St. Louis, Missouri. As the Operations Lead, you will be responsible for the overall daily manufacturing supervision of a production unit, with a focus on safety, environmental compliance, and meeting financial, quality, production and customer service goals. This is a salaried, supervisory position. This position may be required to work rotating shifts as needed to support the department operation.

  • Promote safety culture that fosters an injury free workplace.
  • Lead ES&H incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are completed.
  • Establish, communicate and enforce acceptable standards of performance and behavior within the team.
  • Measure and monitor area performance utilizing specific metrics.
  • Achieve budgeted rates, on-stream-time, yields, and quality commitments.
  • Create and update work instructions for operator activities.
  • Manage maintenance activities in area and promote continuous improvement of equipment reliability.
  • Monitor and manage spending for respective control areas.
  • Communicate, investigate, and correct any product quality exceptions and issues.
  • Provide performance expectations and feedback to all employees.

 

What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role? 

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Microsoft Office, Excel and Word, Highly proficient, preferred.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills.
  • Analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Interpersonal and labor relations skills. Ability to influence at all levels, as well as with external contacts and customers.
  • Potential to develop beyond scope of the Operations Leader position preferred.
  • Capable to rotate as needed into the Operations Leader position for any Phosphate Department.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in an industrial manufacturing environment

 

Compensation at ICL: If you are hired at ICL, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. We also offer a generous benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).


Salary Range: $71,000 - $98,000 


Annual Bonus Target: 7%, subject to plan provisions.
