Credit Analyst

As the Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for providing credit analysis and financial risk mitigation for ICL’s North American businesses. You will work in a face-paced, transactional environment and be a key member of a supportive, efficient team within the finance organization.

This position will work out of our North America Headquarters office in Creve Coeur, MO.
I’m interested! What will I get to do in this position?
- Perform risk assessments and assist in determining the creditworthiness of new and existing customers, in accordance with the credit management policies.
- Work with our trade credit insurer at securing credit limits that meet the needs of our North American businesses including Canada and Mexico.
- Handle collections of accounts receivable in a timely manner to maximize cash flow.
- Perform weekly, monthly and quarterly AR and credit limit reports.
- Support credit team in evaluating customers purchasing patterns against their credit limits to ensure we are not overextending customer’s credit.
- Review financial reports from external agencies and run compliance checks for new customers
- Evaluate financial statements to determine credit eligibility
- Provide backup to the Finance team as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
What skills or experience do I need to be successful in this role?
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years’ experience in commercial credit preferred.
- The capability of understanding and analyzing financial, business, and market data for credit risk assessments.
- Ability to interact with both internal and external customers in a professional manner.
- Excellent communication, including written and oral presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in SAP, Word, and Excel.
Job Level: 13-14 (Level and compensation for this role will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications)
Compensation at ICL: If you are hired at ICL, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. We also offer a generous benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).
Salary Range: $56,000 - $83,000
Annual Bonus Target: 5%, subject to plan provisions.
