As the Business Operations Planner, you will be responsible for central production planning activities for ICL’s North American plants.  In this role you will create and maintain production and inventory plans, maintain system master data records and work with the commercial and manufacturing organizations to maintain an optimal supply and demand balance.

  • Serve as the point of contact for commercial and manufacturing communications.
  • Provide overall supply chain functional expertise with broad knowledge of manufacturing capabilities and constraints.
  • Maintain accurate master data records in SAP for capacity resource planning, raw material planning, primary shipping location, lot sizing, lead times etc.
  • Responsible for rough-cut capacity planning.
  • Prepare raw material supply plans and manufacturing plans as part of the monthly sales and operations planning (S&OP) cycle.
  • Lead supply planning S&OP meetings.
  • Communicate and act upon issues that arise from the supply chain key performance indicators, supply meetings, and pre-S&OP meetings.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to planning team in resolving day-to-day priority calls when product availability does not meet the business demand requirements.  
  • Identify and implement supply chain cost management opportunities for the business.  These include optimizing primary ship-from locations, reviewing safety stock levels, and balancing asset utilization.
  • Oversee inventory management which includes setting, planning, monitoring inventory targets, blocked stock, rework, etc.
  • Responsible for planning supply from other regions to meet the needs of the business demands in North America.

 

What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role? 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field with at least 5 years of experience OR at least 10 years of experience in lieu of a degree with a required high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient within SAP or a similar ERP system as well as Microsoft Suite applications including Word and Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to multi-task, effectively solve problems, and appropriately prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a proven ability to interface across multiple levels of an organization.

  • Production planning experience.
  • APICS Certification.
  • Proven experience with SAP production planning and master data.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel.

Compensation at ICL

If you are hired at ICL, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. We also offer a generous benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).


Salary Range: $78,000 - $105,000


Annual Bonus Target: 7%, subject to plan provisions.
