Job Description
As the Business Analyst for our North American Advanced Additives Group, you will be responsible for analyzing and explaining economic and financial matters of the regional Specialty business. The individual will support the regional and local management team and provide financial data for their decision making. In addition, this role will work closely in alignment with the global business analysis team.
The Business Analyst will handle performance monitoring which includes, but is not limited to, preparation of annual plans, forecasting, and analytics on monthly, quarterly and ad hoc basis.
The job profile includes knowledge about the structures, products, and the markets in the region and adds to the overall global analysis.
Location: This position will be based at our North American Headquarters located in St. Louis (Creve Coeur, MO) working a hybrid scheduled consisting of 3 days in office and 2 days remotely from home.

Partner to regional Management:
- Contact person of regional management e.g., sales, manufacturing, R&D
- In-depth analysis of business results
- Reporting the regional economic situation
- Cost analysis, product analysis
- Product pre-calculations
- Provide analysis for the regional sales Forecasting and Budgeting processes
- Functional support as appropriate
Project support:
- Economic support in any projects with ad-hoc analysis
- Support in global see-through profitability analysis for sourcing decisions
- Investment calculations
- Support business process improvement initiatives related to planning and analysis
Corporate tasks:
- Support in transfer pricing
- Coordination and monitoring of efficiency projects
Quality improvement:
Ensure efficiency and quality of work by adjusting and aligning the structure according to the business unit structure and improve data quality such as e.g., cost center controlling
What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- 3+ years of work experience in Finance or business analysis
- Ability to develop business acumen and curiosity to learn new methods and controlling tools
- Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills
- Working effectively across functions, including Manufacturing, Marketing, and Sales
- Experience in SAP SD, COPA and BI modules are of advantage
- Excellent skills within MS Office applications, focus on excel
Compensation at ICL:
If you are hired at ICL, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. We also offer a generous benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).
Salary Range: $66,000 - $90,000
Annual Bonus Target: 5%, subject to plan provisions.
