Job Description

As the Applications System Analyst - SAP FICO, you will work with the business teams to develop and maintain the necessary SAP FICO configuration in support of business process requirements.

•    Assume a high-level understanding of the organization’s business models and system configuration and design.
•    Identify and recommend solutions to fill system gaps.
•    Deliver detailed design specifications for system solutions.
•    Perform SAP configuration in all FI and CO modules.  Project Systems would be a plus.
•    Develop any new user FICO documentation and conduct user training.
•    Document functional design specifications for required ABAP programming to meet business requirements.
•    Deliver fully integrated solutions across system modules and functional areas.
•    Develop implementation plans and lead teams involved in cutovers and enhancements.
•    Provide cross-functional problem determination and resolution management.
•    Support audit and ad-hoc requests.

What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role? 
•    AA or BS Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
•    3-5 years of experience as a FICO systems analyst. One full cycle SAP implementation preferred.
•    Experience as an Accountant or Financial Analyst highly desirable.
•    Thorough working knowledge and configuration experience in multiple SAP FI and CO modules:  FI-GL, AP, AR, AA required.  CO-PC, CO-CCA, CO-ML, CO-PA desirable.
•    Experience working in a multi-company code, multi-currency environment preferred.
•    Experience with Local and Global Banking processes within SAP: Electronic (EFT, Wires, etc.) and Manual (checks) Payment processes, Electronic Bank Statements, Lockbox Automated Processing, and In-House Banking transactions preferred.
•    Knowledge and experience with integration/operation of Third Party “add-on” systems and key requirements preferred:
    •    Sales and Use Taxes
    •    Accounts Payable Processes 
    •    Travel and Expense    
    •    Payroll    
    •    Transportation/Logistics Planning and Execution (Freight and Logistics invoices) Consolidations
•    Experience writing and maintaining substitution and validation rules desirable.
•    Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
•    Ability to translate business needs into system configuration and technical documentation.
•    Ability to concurrently handle multiple tasks with conflicting priorities.
•    Ability to effectively set expectations and deliver results.
•    Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and electronic).
•    Self-motivated with an appetite for learning.
 

Salary Range: $104,000 - $140,000

 

Annual Bonus Target: 7%, subject to plan provisions.
