Shipping Economist & Data Analyst

What will your responsibilities be?
-Top User of IMOS - Shipping Software by Veson.
-Create & Develop various reports to in-house users.
-Read and understand Shipping Contracts and issue Laytime calculations accordingly.
-Generate periodical reports about the shipping activities
-Settle accounting with Ship Owners in accordance with the contractual terms
-Manage interfaces between IMOS & SAP systems
-Support Veslink users (Chartering & Operation team)
What are we looking for?
-Minimum 3 year working experience in logistics or data analysis.
-Strong data analysis skills.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
-Deep knowledge of Excel program – (formulas, pivots, etc)
-Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
-Maintains a high level of accuracy and attention to details
-Proactively identifies and solves problems to increase efficiency.
-Must be able to provide technical support
-Academic degree in business / Science – Shipping related – Advantage
-Fluent in English (read / write / speak)
