Job Description

Join our team as Multi-Skilled Worker/Experienced Forklift Driver where you will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of warehouses and industrial sites by efficiently handling and transporting materials.

About the role:
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts to move goods around warehouses & industrial environments.
• Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods from vehicles, ensuring they are securely stored.
• Inventory Management: Log materials, manage inventory, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Safety Checks: Perform regular safety checks and maintenance on forklift equipment.
• Material Handling: Use various material handling equipment, including hand trucks, pallet jacks, and industrial lift trucks, Use of ramp unloading and loading container vehicles.
• Packaging: Use industrial plastic wraps and wooden pallets to safely stack and package goods for transport.
• Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and equipment inspections.
• General Warehouse Duties: Assist with general warehouse duties such as packaging shipments, checking inventories, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

About You:

The successful candidate will:

• Have a Forklift Certification: Valid forklift operator certification.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 year of experience operating forklifts.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods and inventory.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding environments.
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Communication Skills: Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.
