Multi-Skilled Operator

Job Description

As a Multi-Skilled Opeator you will need to efficiently operate all production lines in the mill to meet volume requirements and satisfy customer needs. This role also involves operating all moving vehicles on the production site/moss as needed. Additionally, the worker will be responsible for harvesting moss to meet budgeted volume targets. Adherence to all site health and safety regulations is mandatory, with a requirement to report to the Health and Safety Manager. A flexible approach is required with the need to cover all jobs on site.

 About the role:

• Safety: Monitor and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
• Enter all machine check and safety data into company systems
• Machinery Operation: Operate IBC, Probale, and form fill bagging machines.
• Absence Cover:Provide coverage for absent personnel as required.
• Quality Control:*Conduct bulk weight density checks.
• Reporting: Complete all daily production reports with the required information.
• Coordination:Liaise with mixer operators and quality control to ensure the correct volumes are     produced, and report any anomalies observed during production.
• Vehicle Operation: Drive various vehicles as and when required, including forklifts, loading shovels,   MEWPs, and tractors.

About you:

You must have:

• Forklift Truck License
• Volvo Loading Shovel License
• MEWP (Mobile Elevating Work Platform) License
• Tractor Operator
