Key responsibilities

  • Carry profit and loss responsibility for the country and region
  • Agree on and achieve annual budget targets
  • Regularly report on financial results
  • Develop and drive strategies to increase sales and market share in the Turf and Ornamental segment
  • Drive changes to enhance customer satisfaction and internal efficiency
  • Provide effective leadership to the Field Sales Force, Customer Service and Marketing Team
  • Create high motivation levels within the team 
  • Manage key distributors, trade partners, and potting soil manufacturers
  • Annually agree on budgets, sales action programs and marketing plans
  • Use CRM for sales efficiency and tailored marketing communication
  • Identify and develop new segments and distribution channels
  • Leading a team of 25 employees

 

Your profile 

  • University Masters degree preferably in Horticulture, Agriculture or Commercial education.
  • At least 10+ years commercial working experience preferably in professional B2B environment in Horticulture, Landscaping or Agriculture
  • Proven experience with CRM Salesforce
  • Extensive and proven experience in sales leadership
  • Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in German and advanced English level
  • Willingness to travel is required
