About the job

  • Lead strategic dairy new business development and identify high-growth applications
  • Develop sales campaigns and go-to-market strategies
  • Execute sales campaigns with Europewide accounts
  • Build robust pipeline and maintain high activity level towards customers
  • Acquire and grow strategic accounts
  • Directly Manage selected Key Accounts
  • Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure
  • Expand existing accounts through upselling and long-term collaboration
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity
  • Partner with R&D and product management to co-develop innovative ingredient solutions meeting growth market needs
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain CRM records and report on business performance

 

About you

  • 8+ years in business development & strategic sales role in food ingredients space, ideally in dairy segment
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-oriented mindset
  • Strong commercial acumen and deal-closing ability
  • Solid understanding of food ingredient market, ideally dairy segment
  • Degree in Food Technology, Business, or related field
  • Excellent verbal and written negotiation, presentation and communication skills in English, advanced knowledge of German language is mandatory
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Europe
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office, and SAP
