As one of our Food Meat Technologists you add value to the development of new products, formulations and applications with a strong focus on Meat, Poultry, Seafood (MPS). You will also travel to our global customers, Distribution partners and our subsidiaries by advising them technically about our solutions.

About the job 
Based out of our site in Ladenburg Germany you are part of a Global network with labs in Brazil, US, China and Germany. With a team of driven international focused Meat Technologist you will support our customers by travelling to their sites for support and advice. This role has a very wide range of activities for supporting our customers, Sales force and Technical Developments. 


Your main activities will be: 

  • Development of new products, formulations and applications: Flavors, spice blends, phosphates, hydrocolloids, proteins.
  • Documentation of process steps, production processes and mixtures (according to project management procedures)
  • Technical support of our subsidiaries 
  • Application support at our customers: Product demonstration, pilot testing, product evaluation, training and technical presentations.
  • Close cooperation with sales, marketing, production as well as quality assurance. 
  • Managing development projects


About you
Meat Technologist and ready to travel? We are looking for someone with a broad experience in meat processing, preferably a degree in Food Science. You have experience in the development and/or application of ingredients in the area Meat, Poultry, Seafood (MPS). 


In addition, you bring: 

  • Experience in the development of flavor systems
  • Ability and willingness to  travel to support customers at their location and support ICL at trade shows 
  • Great communication skills, able to give presentations; fluent in English and German is a benefit.
