Job Description

As the Inside Sales Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and efficiency within the Phosphates Specialties division. The Inside Sales Specialist will provide essential support to the Account Managers, freeing up their time to focus on strategic sales activities and customer relationship building. This role will serve as a catalyst for improving sales forecasting, opportunity management, and overall sales performance.

Opportunity Management:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive opportunity funnel, capturing detailed information on each prospect and customer.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to track progress and identify potential roadblocks.
  • Utilize CRM (Salesforce) to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.

Sales Support:

  • Provide administrative support, including data entry, report generation, and follow-up on customer inquiries.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Support in the creation and maintenance of customer maps and sales templates.
  • Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments to streamline processes and improve communication.
  • Track and follow up on sales opportunities, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.

Sales Analysis:

  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for the sales team and management.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline sales processes and improve efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development of sales tools and resources.
  • Develop and maintain customer mapping, identifying key contacts and opportunities.

  • Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce)
  • Excellent data analysis and reporting abilities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience in a sales support or sales administrative role

Compensation at ICL: If you are hired at ICL, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. We also offer a generous benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).


Salary Range: $63,000.00 - $86,000.00


Annual Bonus Target: 5%, subject to plan provisions.
