What will you be doing:

As an Accounts Payable Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a real-world accounting environment. This internship is designed to provide you with exposure to various aspects of accounts payable, helping you develop essential skills for a successful career in finance.

Your main activities:

• Assist in processing invoices and expense reports
• Perform invoice matching and approval handling
• Exception handling: liaise with relevant parties (buyers, requestors and suppliers, etc.) to resolve critical invoice discrepancies
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate payment processing
• Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned

What you bring:

• Current enrollment at a Dutch school in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (knowledge of QAD is a plus)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• English and Dutch language skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
