Job description:

  • Leading product development projects from concept to commercialization.
  • Conducting stability studies and shelf-life testing.
  • Troubleshooting production issues and recommending solutions for Prolactal customers.
  • Collaborating with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients.
  • Mentoring junior team members.
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Consolidate and guarantee the registration of activities and test reports in standardized and auditable tools, which must contain objectives, formulas, process conditions, necessary equipment as well as the setup for specific machinery.
  • Evaluating and implementing new technologies or equipment.
  • Operate and maintain the sanitary and operational aspects of the equipment and all infrastructure associated to Prolactal Applications Center, ensuring its full operation.
  • Preserve and care about company's intellectual information, as well as the confidential information.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, seminars and technical sessions related to the food market and in accordance with Prolactal's annual budget and planning.

 

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in food product development.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • German and English
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of food chemistry, microbiology, and sensory evaluation.

The minimum monthly salary for this position is based on the collective agreement of the cooperative dairies (employment group 3) and starts from an annual gross salary of € 38,000 in the position of a Junior Food Technologist. The actual remuneration is determined together in a personal interview, depending on experience, qualifications and working hours.
