As the HR Manager, you will serve as counsel and advisor to management on all HR related issues. You will lead HR strategy and direct HR programs to enhance the organization’s performance. You will also be part of a talented HR team that works hard to make a difference and supports each other. I’m interested! What will I get to do in this position?
- Establish long-term goals and objectives to drive best practices and continuous improvement within the manufacturing site and other locations.
- Assist in planning, designing, developing HR programs, policies and procedures such as compensation, health/welfare, benefits administration, performance management, training & development, and recruitment/selection activities and you will lead the local implementation. This will include some administrative duties related to the employee life cycle for employees across North America.
- Manage the labor relations and contract administration at the union plant and coordinate the contract negotiations.
- Partner with the Legal and/or Compliance team on various legal matters.
- Manage succession planning, training, and development of key personnel.
- Provide counsel and guidance to management regarding human resources processes and policies.
- Assist in design and implementation of organizational and cultural changes; act as change agent, to meet changing business needs.
- Stay aware of developments and techniques within the human resources field as well as governmental regulations
- Serve as the site EEO coordinator, guide the hiring process in conjunction with Equal Employment Opportunity laws and other regulations.
- You will act as the site HIPAA and Private Health Information officer, as well as the focal point for corporate ethics.
- Site liaison for internal and external audits that pertain to HR matters
- Responsible for the sites’ human capital budgeting.
- You will coordinate the Employee Assistance Program mandatory referrals and non-random drug/alcohol testing. Site liaison with the EAP.
What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?
- BS/BA in HR management or related area plus a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Human Resources or in lieu of degree must have 7 years of HR experience. SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.
- 1+ years’ experience in an industrial and/or manufacturing atmosphere. Experience in a union environment is preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail, highly organized and skilled in managing priorities and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-awareness, strong leadership and influence skills, professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong critical thinking abilities; you are solutions oriented when it comes to problem solving.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact with all levels of the organization
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated success in managing employee conflict resolution.
- Solid understanding of employment law and regulatory requirements
- Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and cost containment.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 20% and occasionally internationally.
- Successful candidate must be able to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control laws and regulation

Compensation at ICL: If you are hired at ICL, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. We also offer a generous benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).

Salary Range: $100,000 - $137,000 annually
Annual Bonus Target: 12%, subject to plan provisions.
