Truck Driver

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Truck Driver to join our team. This dual-role position involves approximately 70% local driving and 30% warehouse and forklift operations. During the transitional period between the end of the agricultural season and the beginning of our Early Order Program, the balance between driving and warehouse duties may temporarily shift. The ideal candidate will ensure timely deliveries, maintain accurate records, and assist with warehouse duties as needed.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. However, there are times that deliveries require earlier, or later hours based on delivery location requirements.
- No overnight stays on deliveries. All truck routes will originate and end at ICL Fresno.
- Occasional overtime and occasional Saturdays may be required.
I’m interested! What will I get to do in this position?
Driving (70%):
- Operate company vehicles to transport company product to destinations in a safe and timely manner.
- Flatbed truck, semi-truck with 53’ Flatbed or Tanker Trailer,
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of cargo, securing loads as necessary.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain necessary signatures and documentation.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
Warehouse & Forklift Operations (30%):
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load/unload and move products.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and organizing materials.
- Perform general warehouse duties such as picking, packing, and staging orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Support other warehouse and logistics tasks as assigned.
What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) – [Class A] required.
- Clean driving record with a minimum of 1-3 years of commercial driving experience.
- Hazmat Endorsement is required.
- Tanker Endorsement is required.
- Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to lift up 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Compensation at ICL: If you are hired at ICL, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. We also offer a generous benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).
Salary Range: $25 - $31
Annual Bonus Target: Harvest and Christmas bonus
