Mixer Operator - Dry

As the Mixing Operator Dry, at our Growing Solutions Fresno, CA location, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring blending and grinding equipment to mix dry ingredients according to specified formulations. This role ensures the consistent production of high-quality blends by following precise instructions, performing quality checks, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

I’m interested! What will I get to do in this position? 

Blending Operations:

• Operate and monitor dry blending and grinding equipment to mix ingredients as per production specifications.
• Accurately weigh, measure, and load raw materials into blending machines.
• Monitor blending times and speeds to ensure uniformity and consistency in the final product.

Quality Control:

• Perform quality checks on blends, including consistency, texture, and appearance, to meet product standards.
• Identify and address any defects or inconsistencies in the product.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of blending and grinding equipment to ensure efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues promptly.
• Notify the maintenance team of significant mechanical problems.

Safety and Compliance:

• Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Adhere to company policies and industry regulations, including proper handling of powders and chemicals.
• Keep the workspace clean, organized, and free of hazards to maintain a safe working environment.

Documentation:

• Record batch numbers, ingredient quantities, and production data accurately.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in environments with dust, noise, and varying temperatures.

What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role? 

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1+ years of Production experience or equivalent technical education and work experience.

Compensation at ICL: If you are hired at ICL, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. We also offer a generous benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).

Salary Range: $19.00 to $23.00

Annual Bonus Target: Harvest and Christmas bonus
