The Inventory Control Specialist at ICL Fresno is responsible for managing and overseeing inventory operations within the site.

- Monitor Inventory Levels: Keep track of inventory levels and identify any inconsistencies or discrepancies.
- Receive and Store Inventory: Coordinate and supervise the receiving, storing, and shipping of inventory.
- Perform Inventory Audits: Conduct regular physical inventory audits and reconcile them with inventory management system records.
- Develop Procedures: Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Maintain Records: Keep accurate and up-to-date inventory records and documentation.
- Address Shortages: Identify and address potential inventory shortages or overstock situations.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work with sales and operations teams to manage inventory demand and forecast future needs.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety and legal standards in storage and handling of inventory.
- Use Inventory Software: Utilize inventory management software or systems to track and analyze inventory.
- Train Staff: Assist in the training of new staff on inventory control systems and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accurate records and identify discrepancies.
- Organizational Skills: Efficiently manage and organize inventory operations.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
- Communication Skills: Ability to work with various teams and provide clear information.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Quickly resolve issues related to inventory management.
What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?
- Associate’s degree in in business, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Certifications such as Certified Inventory Management Professional (CIMP), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field, such as warehouse operations or inventory management, inventory control, supply chain management.
Compensation at ICL: If you are hired at ICL, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. We also offer a generous benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).
Salary Range: $71,000 - $92,000
