Research Scientist

Are you passionate about driving innovation in agriculture and turf management? We're looking for a talented Research Scientist to lead our efforts in researching, developing, and testing new ideas and concepts for product development across multiple markets worldwide. Based at our state-of-the-art facility in Daventry, Northamptonshire, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of our industry-leading formulations.

The main responsibilities will be:

• Plan, monitor, and record all funded trials, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
• Collaborate with senior management and global R&D teams to present new ideas and findings.
• Manage projects from conception to completion, including budgeting and deadline management.
• Conduct experiments and trials, adhering to best practices and professional standards.
• Analyze data, prepare technical reports, and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain project management software, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
• Monitor patents and collaborate with legal teams as needed.
• Foster collaborations with universities and external partners for future projects.

About you

• Degree in Plant Physiology, Botany, Agronomy, Horticulture, Agriculture, or related field.
• Previous experience as an Agronomist or Plant Physiologist in a commercial R&D setting.
• Familiarity with Design of Experiments and statistical analysis.
• Strong research and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.
• Solution-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Commitment to compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Valid UK driving license required.
