Job Description
As the Customer Service Specialist, you will have the opportunity to serve as the main point of contact for order related activities along with ensuring customer loyalty by effectively managing the order process. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to learn and master the following to seek total customer satisfaction. This role is integral to the ICL Growing Solutions North America team and works closely with the Customer Supervisor to improve the customer experience. As a customer-facing position, it plays a key part in driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and passionate about delivering outstanding service while representing the ICL brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Location:
This position will work remotely from home, but we are seeking candidates located near North Charleston, SC as there will be occasional on-site trainings and meetings.
I’m interested! What will I get to do in this position?
- You will thoroughly communicate with internal customers such as Territory and Regional Managers, Supply Chain and Procurement.
- You will be the main Contact for distributors. Enter all the said orders for that distributor. You will answer and respond to all emails regarding status of orders, product availability and route questions when needed.
- You will problem solve. Work to put together truckloads of material and piece various orders together to make sure product reaches the end user in timely fashion.
- You will learn the product catalogue and where each product ships from.
- Run daily reports to keep after delays and monitor order shortages.
- Participate weekly in sales calls and have the knowledge to put forth corrective solutions to seek whole team satisfaction.
What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in managing customer accounts with order entry.
- Import and Export experience and Knowledge of logistics/ supply chain would be beneficial for this position but not required.
- Proficiency of Excel, Outlook & QAD helpful but not required.
- Skilled in problem solving, creativity and attention to detail required.
- Must be organized and contain a desire to satisfy customers.

Compensation at ICL: If you are hired at ICL, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. We also offer a generous benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).
Salary Range: $47,000 - $64,000
Annual Bonus Target: 5%, subject to plan provisions.
