French subsidiary of an international Group, based between Saint-Omer and Boulogne-sur-Mer (62), we manufacture specialty chemicals for many industrial markets, as well as active ingredients for the pharmaceutical and food industries. 90% of our production is exported.
As part of a departure, we are looking for our HSE Manager (M/F). The company is particularly attached to professional gender equality and diversity.


The role

Reporting to the Managing Director, you are responsible for all site activities relating to  Safety, Health and the Environment.

You ensure the respect and the proper application of the EHS regulations in force and the implementation of the various directives of the Group (procedures, conduct and follow-up of action plans). You deploy the ISO 45001 standard and ensure its follow-up in within the framework of continuous improvement, update the single document, carry out risk studies and accident analyses, reinforce safety procedures and draw up prevention plans, ensure regulatory monitoring.

You will also be in charge of deploying the ISO 14001 standard for the environment.

You ensure the maintenance of the authorization to operate (operating order) by especially carrying out regulatory controls (dust, noise, etc.), bring the site into compliance with environmental regulations, follow the evolution of laws and ensure the interface with the authorities: CARSAT, Labor Inspectorate, DREETS...

Finally, you ensure the monitoring and updating of Quality documents (including the parts related to GMP and HACCP (ISO 22000 certification) and participate in inspections by the authorities and reviews of the QEHS system, in particular with the monitoring of EHS indicators.

 

Profile

M/F/X , Engineer with a Safety and Environment specialty, you benefit from an experience (10 years minimum) of the EHS function acquired operationally on a production site in a process industry: chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food, petrochemicals, metallurgy, lime/ cement, glass, stationery, recycling & waste recovery, etc.

  • Knowledge of chemistry is an advantage.
  • You have proven knowledge of security: single document, risk analysis, tree of causes, etc.
  • The practice of English is essential in order to communicate with the Group.
  • Ability to listen and communicate
  • Analytical and synthetic skills.
  • Sense of teamwork and relational skills to manage relations with internal and external actors of the company

 

The proposed remuneration consists of a fixed salary (13 months) + bonus + participation & profit-sharing.
