Job Description

As a French subsidiary of an International ICL-Group, we manufacture specialty chemicals of interest to many industrial markets, as well as active ingredients and drugs for the food and the pharmaceutical industry. 90% of our production is exported.



We are looking for a Laboratory Manager (M / F / ) for its analysis laboratory, located on its production site in the North of France (62). We are approved by ANSM in BPF part 1 and 2, certified ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000.

Under the authority of the Qualified Person, the Laboratory / Quality Control manager will have the following main missions:


  • Analysis:
  • Guarantee the application and respect of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), European and American Pharmacopoeias, ICH and ISO standards
  • Ensure the control of the products conformity
  • Write the analysis certificates, release the analysis result
  • Ensure that the deadline for carrying out analyzes is respected.


  • Management:
  • Supervise the laboratory staff (planning, evaluation, training) and develop them according to the needs of the service
  • Work in project mode with the other department of the site (Production, Quality Assurance, Sales, Maintenance, R & D ...) in order to ensure the optimization of the operation of the site
  • Propose new investments for the laboratory and maintain existing equipment
  • Monitor and evaluate subcontractors and laboratory purchases
  • Follow up the laboratory budget.


  • Quality:
  • Monitor quality and operational indicators 
  • Follow the actions and quality documents specific to the laboratory, or relating to the laboratory
  • Examine complaints, investigations, OOS / OOT, propose and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Respond to Quality audits and questions from the Administration or supervisory authorities
  • Carry out a regulatory check for the laboratory.


  • Research & Development:
  • Participate in Site projects and in particular site R&D projects.




Minimum Bac +4/5 Chemistry or equivalent with at least 10 years of experience in laboratory management in pharmaceutical, chemistry or food industry.
Fluent in English (interaction with the Group and European headquarters and non-French speaking foreign clients).
