ICL is looking for a Senior Manager with a solid managerial background to lead the sales organization in Romania, Bulgaria, and Moldova. You are having in-depth knowledge of agricultural business, distribution and leading remote teams. The role reports to the Head of Sales and Marketing Eastern Europe and FSU and is part of the Eastern European Management team. 
Most importantly, you are instrumental in business development to assure sustainable business growth and implementation of new go-to-market model (direct sales) in the assigned territory.


What you will do:

  • Conducting sales and business development activities in Romania, Bulgaria, and Moldova.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with distributors, opinion makers among farmers, professional associations.
  • Building Business Plan for a deeper ICL presence in the designated markets.
  • Cooperation with all ICL company’s organizational units to develop and then execute the strategy for the region.
  • Active development of and contribution to cross-regional business partnership initiatives.
  • Identify, conceive, model, and execute revenue-generating business opportunities.
  • Hiring and managing ICL teams (Growing solutions, Agriculture) in the region.
  • Full P&L responsibilities.


What do you bring:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in agribusiness and 6 years in management (at least 4 years of Senior management experience).
  • Experience in strategic marketing and financial analyses.
  • Experience in a multinational company.
  • Ability to lead highly complex specialized projects.
  • In depth specialized knowledge in agricultural business from multiple perspectives.
  • Large professional network (distributors, associations, ag input companies) in the territory of responsibility, is a big plus.
  • Flexible & creative thinking, with a “do what it takes” mindset to win business.
  • Excellent command of the English, Romanian or Bulgarian languages.
