Are you ready to take your career to new heights? We're on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Site Electrical Engineer to join our vibrant team. As the backbone of our operations, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our mine and surface assets.
The main responsibilities will be:
- Hold the pivotal role of Appointed Mine Electrical Engineer, ensuring compliance with current legislation and industry regulations.
- Set and enforce engineering standards to guarantee the safe and productive operation of our assets.
- Spearhead the identification and implementation of best practices to optimize operational efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership and support to our operational teams.
- Stay ahead of the curve by continually exploring and integrating new technologies and practices.
- Lead capital projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to safety, regulatory, and financial requirements.
About you
- Experience: A proven track record as an Electrical Engineering Manager, ideally within mining, tunnelling, or civil industries.
- Expertise: Extensive knowledge of electrical equipment and maintenance techniques, with a focus on enhancing machine reliability.
- Qualifications: Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, Chartered Engineer status, and relevant certifications such as NEBOSH General Certificate and I.E.T Regulations BS7671.
- Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams.
