The VP, CDA Business will be responsible for overseeing and driving the strategic direction and operational execution of the CDA business, from early-stage development to achieving full market penetration.
This role requires a dynamic and visionary individual with a strong mix of leadership, business acumen, and operational expertise.
The ideal candidate will help identify growth opportunities, manage key business functions, and collaborate closely with senior leadership to achieve business goals.
Prior experience in developing businesses and driving them to market success is highly advantageous.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Develop and execute business strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and emerging trends to inform products and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, operations, product development) to implement strategies.
- Cultivate relationships with customers, partners, vendors, and industry leaders.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Lead the execution of sales and marketing strategies to increase market share
- Monitor financial performance, ensuring profitability and growth.
- Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support scaling and market entry decisions.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing cross-functional team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine strategies.
- Leverage data and insights to align business goals with market demands.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or related fields; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven track record of managing business units or divisions with measurable results.
- Significant experience in scaling businesses from concept to market penetration. Start-up experience is advantageous.
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Success in managing cross-functional teams in dynamic environments.
- Strategic thinking and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management, market analysis, and operational execution.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with operational priorities.
