ICL’s global sourcing strategies, negotiations and approvals of our global procurement contracts are steered and made in the Global Procurement Organization department.
For our Energy Category we are looking for a Sourcing Manager that has a strong experience in creating sourcing strategies.
In this role, your goal will be to lead procurement of utilities in the indirect procurement within the Energy sub-category for Israel region and generate reduction in the total cost of ownership of services.
You will be working in a team of Sourcing Managers and Operational Buyers in this sub-category and your line manager is the Head of Indirect Procurement -Contractors & Energy.
The total spend under management is more than 150 M€/Year.


What will your responsibilities be?

-Actively participate in the strategic sourcing activities for the Energy sub-category, with the goal of achieving cost reductions, while maintaining or improving service quality or vendor service levels
-Identify, evaluate & select suppliers, negotiate and close framework-agreements of Israel region services under the Energy sub-category
-Drive product demand optimization throughout ICL via collaboration with the relevant ICL units
-Maintain and develop in-depth knowledge of legislation, markets & trends of the Energy sub-category
-Perform best in class negotiation processes via analysis of contract’s type, supply & demand trends
-Establish and manage global/regional relationships with suppliers
-Monitor performances of vendors and their compliance with their commitments
-Address & solve operational issues with suppliers
-Deal with CO2 trading (EUA)
-Energy risks management during the year

 

What are we looking for?

-Master’s degree in a relevant field (Energy, Business)
-At least 5 years of relevant work experience in energy market in Israel
-Expertise in Israel energy markets and legislation
-Demonstrable track record of success in managing complex, cross-functional activities and developing/executing key procurement processes
-Excellent command of English and  Hebrew are must, any additional European language skills are desirable
-Strong negotiation skills and result driven personality
-Excellent interpersonal, business acumen, communication and supplier relations skills
