As a Total Rewards Manager, you will liaise with HR and business colleagues at all levels to identify the best cost-effective solutions in order to ensure that we stay competitive (externally and internally) in each of our relevant markets while aligning and interacting with local, regional and global HR teams. The focus of the role is to drive Total Reward activities in Europe.

About the role     
As our Total Rewards Manager you will lead state-of-the-art Compensation and Benefits processes and programs for Europe. You will ensure that employee’s compensation and benefits are in line with our company policies/guidelines, competitive and are compliant with legal and fiscal regulations. You will continuously work on development and improvement of the compensation and benefits plans including projects.


Total Rewards Manager Europe has a team of two analysts. The position collaborates with all HR professionals, Business Managers, and external parties. The Total Rewards position reports into the VP, ICL Global Total Rewards, HRIS & Mobility.


Main responsibilities

  • Management, administration and communication of base pay, bonus- and equity plans
  • Overall responsibility on the organization’s job architecture processes in Europe
  • Leads the execution of two main annual compensations cycles in Europe
  • Identifies opportunities for alignment of Regional Total Reward processes, policies, and benefit provisions
  • Drives salary survey data delivery and vendor management
  • Active partnership in designing and adjusting compensation and benefits related topics within ICL Collective Labor Agreements in Europe
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of TR Analysts in order to have a high performing team

About you 
You have a proven track record as a Total Rewards Leader, preferably in an international environment. You have a relevant degree in HR, Finance or similar.  In addition, we look for the following experience or skills: 

  • Proven experience in job evaluation methodologies (familiarity with Mercer IPE is a plus)
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at
  • senior leadership level
  • You have very high relevant excel skills  
  • HRIS experience, working knowledge of Success Factors is a plus
  • Team player with the ability to prioritize and lead projects
  • Detailed orientated and solution driven
  • Fluent in English. Dutch, Spanish or German is a plus


Location:  Amsterdam (other locations in Europe are possible)
