Senior Sourcing Manager Contractors & CAPEX (German or Hebrew speaker)

ICL’s global sourcing strategies, negotiations and approvals of our global procurement contracts are steered and made in this office. For our CAPEX and Indirect Contractors Category we are looking for a Sourcing Manager that has a strong experience in creating sourcing strategies while having a pragmatic approach. About the role
Your goal will be to lead procurement of indirect services, strategic sourcing activities within the Contractors and Energy sub-category including Projects and MRO. A big part of the scope is for our locations in Benelux region and Israel. You will be working in a team of Sourcing Managers and Operational Buyers in this category. You will report to the Head of Indirect Contractors and Energy.
Main responsibilities:
- Actively participate in the strategic sourcing activities for the Contractors sub-category, with the goal of achieving cost reductions, while maintaining or improving service quality or vendor service levels;
- Participate in Value Engineering activities;
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers, negotiate, and close framework-agreements of Global and European region services for Contractors;
- Drive product demand optimization throughout ICL via collaboration with the relevant ICL units;
- Maintain and develop in-depth knowledge of suppliers, markets trends of the Contractors;
- Understanding of EPC/ EPCM/ Design build contracts and working experience;
- Establish and manage global, regional relationships with suppliers;
- Monitor performances of vendors and their compliance with their commitments.
About you
To be successful in this role you have a Bachelor or master’s degree in a relevant field like Engineering with the right amount of relevant procurement experience that is needed to bring high quality procurement to this role.
In additional you bring the following:
- Capabilities of assessing category spend base and project management.
- Experience in working in an international environment and leading cross-function teams.
- Understanding of contractors and Capex supply markets.
- Strong negotiation skills and result driven personality.
- Excellent interpersonal, business acumen, communication and supplier relations skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and in a matrix management style organization.
Languages:
Excellent command of English and German or Hebrew is required. Additional language skills would be beneficial.
