About the role
In our ICL Europe Headquarters Quality (EHQ) Assurance team we are looking for a Senior Quality Specialist, on temporary basis, to drive the cross-functional Quality Management Systems (QMS) implementation & process improvement. As a part of the quality team, you will report to the Global Procurement Quality Manager, and you are responsible to create, align and implement an effective Quality Management System ICL EU HQ, which will ensure an effective and efficient functioning of the EHQ in collaboration with the Europe manufacturing sites.
Your responsibility also includes proactively maintaining a system integration of processes and process interfaces between different Regional Functions and ICL Production Sites operating in Europe region.
This is a highly visible role and often requires working closely with senior management to deliver on high impact projects. The ideal person should have demonstrated ability to work well with people having diverse cultural background and at different levels in the organization.
In more detail:
- Implementing an effective & streamlined EHQ document management system, in line with ICL Global Document Management policy, to ensure that up-to-date process documents are available and known to people.
- Cross-functional alignment on key processes focusing on the end-to-end approach wherever applicable.
- Creating training modules (e.g. video training, on-line training etc.) for the key EHQ processes, and ensuring that the cross-functional teams are fully aware of the processes.
- Fostering cross-functional EHQ teams’ collaboration by mapping the key processes in simplified way and clearly indicating the responsibilities for the interconnected processes.
- Writing procedures/work instructions as a part of EHQ document management process.
- Driving process excellence initiatives and update the procedures based on the improvement in the processes.
- Create or update EHQ process workflows in a digital tool, called as Hopex.
- Maintain the QA documents digital library for EHQ.
About you
- Min. 5 years of experience, preferably in quality and project management of business processes.
- Graduation or higher in qualification
- Hands on experience in writing and aligning procedures and processes.
- Good knowledge of Quality Assurance systems, mainly based on international norms like ISO 9001:2015
- Quick learner, solution-oriented personality and comfortable to challenge status quo.
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, quick learner and comfortable to challenge status quo.
- Customer focused, team player, taking full responsibility of own tasks.
Languages: Fluent in English (both speaking & writing). Other international language is a plus.
Location: ICL European Headquarters, Amsterdam.

The role is available for 6 months (starting from July 2025) as the maternity cover. The reporting line is to the Global Procurement Quality Manager. The EU HQ & GPO Quality Assurance team also works in close collaboration with the ICL Global Quality Network and with all Global Functions operating within ICL Europe Headquarters.
