Job Description

About the Role

As Legal & Regulatory Counsel (Europe), you will play a pivotal role in advancing our business objectives while ensuring compliance with European legal and regulatory frameworks. This dual-role position combines regulatory advisory with commercial legal responsibilities, offering a unique opportunity to work across jurisdictions and business units.

You’ll collaborate closely with regulatory, compliance, and commercial teams, translating complex legal requirements into actionable business strategies. This is a high-impact role ideal for a legal professional looking to broaden their scope and grow within a global organization.

What You’ll Do

As part of our European Legal team, you will:

  • Provide strategic legal advice on regulatory and commercial matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Act as the primary legal liaison to non-legal regulatory teams, supporting risk assessments and regulatory interpretation.
  • Translate regulatory developments into practical guidance, playbooks, and training materials.
  • Advise on product launches, operational changes, and market entry strategies.
  • Monitor regulatory updates and enforcement trends, and support audits and inspections.
  • Develop and implement dispute management strategies in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

What You Bring

  • Master’s degree in Law.
  • 3–6 years of post-qualification experience in regulatory legal roles, ideally with exposure to commercial advice in European jurisdictions.
  • Strong understanding of European regulatory frameworks relevant to industrial or manufacturing sectors.
  • Commercial law expertise, including contract drafting and negotiation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a pragmatic, business-oriented approach.
  • Experience in dispute prevention and resolution is a plus.
  • Fluency in English; additional European languages are a strong asset.

What We Offer

  • A key role in a stable, innovative, and future-focused organization.
  • The opportunity to work on high-impact projects across Europe.
  • A collaborative and international team environment.
  • Competitive salary and excellent secondary benefits.
  • Flexibility and support for your professional growth and development.

Location: This role is based in Amsterdam.
