About the job
To our new, motivated and detail-oriented Junior Treasury Analyst to join our finance team, we offer a dynamic opportunity to gain exposure across a wide range of treasury and financial operations. Your responsibilities will include supporting core treasury functions and daily cash operations, full-cycle sales credit processes and related financial analysis, audit participation, banking requirements documentation, KYC (Know Your Customer) processes, bank guarantees/ LC.
In more detail, you will be involved in
- Audit Participation: Engage in both internal and external audits, providing all necessary documentation and information.
- Treasury Documentation: Maintain and organize treasury documents, ensuring their accuracy and accessibility.
- Bank Guarantees/LC Management: Oversee the issuance, extensions, and reporting of bank guarantees and letters of credit.
- KYC Support: Assist in the Know Your Customer (KYC) process by gathering and verifying customer information.
- General Treasury Support: Engage in other treasury functions as needed.
- Customer Account Management: Monitor and manage customer accounts using the ERP system, ensuring records of credit limits, terms, and outstanding balances are up-to-date.
- Sales Order Review: Review and release sales orders from credit hold in accordance with credit policy and customer payment history.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any payment discrepancies.
- Credit Insurance Administration: Handle credit insurance tasks, including applying for credit limits, managing overdue reporting, and assisting in claims submission with providers (e.g., Atradius).
- Dispute Resolution: Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve disputes and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Risk Escalation: Escalate high-risk accounts or problematic cases to senior credit staff.
- Reporting: Prepare aging reports and credit risk exposure summaries for management.
- SOX Reporting: Manage Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) reporting requirements.
- Credit Insurance Manager Backup: Serve as a backup for the Credit Insurance Manager.
About you:
To be successful in this challenging and rewarding role, you have at least a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. Next to having a strong attention to detail and well developed organizational skills, you are an excellent communicator. Also, your interpersonal skills allow you to work independently and as part of a team. Besides this, you have
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Prior knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP and QAD is a plus.
