About the Role
This dual role combines strategic HR leadership with operational oversight. You will guide leaders across multiple business functions—Legal, IT, Finance, HR, Global Procurement, Supply Chain, European Marketing, and Sales—while ensuring operational excellence within our HR Operations & Payroll team.
You will manage a team of 4 HR Operations & Payroll Specialists and 1 HR Officer and act as the primary contact for the Works Council. Your impact will span workforce capability development, organizational performance, and the delivery of a consistent, compliant, and people‑centric employee experience across the Benelux region.
What You Will Do
1. HR Manager (Business Partnering)
Advise leaders on organizational design, talent development, performance, engagement, and workforce planning.
Support managers on absenteeism, sickness management, employee relations, retention, and culture.
Lead change initiatives, restructuring efforts, and communication planning.
Serve as primary contact for the Works Council and employee representatives.
Drive annual HR processes: compensation cycles, talent reviews, and development planning.
2. HR Operations Manager
Oversee daily HR operations and payroll across multiple European legal entities.
Ensure timely, accurate payroll and manage relationships with external payroll providers.
Keep HR policies current and compliant with local legislation.
Act as the interface between EUHQ and local payroll teams.
Lead HR process improvement and operational efficiency projects.
Maintain GDPR compliance and ensure HRIS accuracy.
Align KPIs for HR Operations Benelux and payroll across Europe.
Deliver regular reporting on HR operational metrics.
About You
You are a hands-on, proactive HR professional who thrives in both strategic and operational settings. You build credibility quickly, think critically, and navigate complex situations with empathy and confidence.
You bring:
7+ years of HR experience, including HR Manager/HRBP roles
Experience in HR Operations, payroll, and HRIS (SAP / SuccessFactors preferred)
Strong knowledge of Dutch labor law and compliance
Proven experience in international, multicultural environments
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
A pragmatic, solution‑driven mindset and ability to work under pressure
Fluency in English and Dutch
